What are my SMTP details?
SMTP server details are provided to you by your ISP, and comprise of a Server name or IP address and a username and password, optionally an ISP may specify a port, but most don't so you can leave this blank. If you do not have these details please contact your ISP.
Below, you will find the SMTP settings for major email providers.
Please note that the specific login details, such as username and password, are provided by the providers themselves.
Microsoft O365:
- Server Address: smtp.office365.com
- Username: Your Exchange Email Address
- Password: Your Exchange Email Password.
- Port Number: 587 (With TLS)
Gmail:
- Server Address: smtp.gmail.com.
- Username: Your Gmail Address (e.g. example@gmail.com)
- Password: Your Gmail Password.
- Port Number: 587 (With TLS)
- Alternative Port Number: 465 (With SSL)
Ionos:
- Server Address: smtp.ionos.com.
- Username: Your complete email address (youraddress@domain.com)
- Password: Your IONOS password
- Port Number: 465
- SMTP security: SSL/TLS
