# Reference Request

## Using Chameleon-i, you have the ability to ask for a reference directly from the candidate's profile.

In order to achieve this, you must create personalized Wizard templates. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

- Select '**Admin**' from the main menu
- Select the '**CMS**' tab.
- From the '**Select Page**' drop-down menu, select '**New**' to load a blank template.
- Enter the **Page Name** - remember to name the template correctly as highlighted below.

Please ensure that the page name is correctly set to:

- Wizard-Candidate Reference Request 1
- Wizard-Candidate Reference Request 2
- Wizard-Candidate Reference Request 3

To include the appropriate referee's name, make sure to utilize the specific placeholders designated for Referee 1, Referee 2, or Referee 3.

For instance, in the Wizard Template named **Wizard-Candidate Reference Request 1,** be sure to insert **\[\[ca.referee1name\]\]** for Referee 1's name and so on. 

You can customize the placeholder by changing the number to correspond to the template you wish to use it in.
