# Changing your Chameleon-i User Password

## To change Chameleon-i passwords you will need to have Admin rights.

- Select '**Admin**' from the main menu.
- Select the '**Users**' tab.
- Select the User whose password you want to update from the drop-down list.
- Click '**Change Password**' button located in the central panel 'User Options'.
- Enter your new **password.** 
    - The password should:-   
      \- Be a minimum of 8 characters   
      \- Contain at least one lowercase letter and one uppercase letter   
      \- Contain at least one number   
      \- Contain at least one special character (e.g. ! or ?)
- Click on the '**Save**' button to save the changes.

**Please note that if you change a users password in the admin section, they must update the settings of any plugins they are actively using.**
