Client Grid Search Overview
The Client Grid has a number of search options as detailed below:
- Select from the drop down list the field you want to search in.
- The second drop down allows you to select criteria such as Exact, Starts With, Contains
- The third text box is for you to enter the search criteria you are looking for. You can use this when searching/refining existing search results for things like duplicate email addresses, forename, surname, owner etc.
- The radial search is a popular way to bring up companies that are based within certain areas. Select the number of miles from the drop-down list and then type in the location you're looking for. The location should be available from the drop-down list, but if you can't find it let us know and we'll add it for you.
- The drop down allows you to filter between all clients or your own clients based on the record ownership
- Click the blue 'Tag' button to create a new saved tag search or select a saved search from the drop-down list.
- The 'CSL OFF/ON' button allows you to run a client search against previously selected company records. For further details on using the CSL button click here.
- You can pick what client priorities you want to be added into the search.
- The 'HOLD' button enables you to hold existing search results, then refine or add additional search criteria to narrow your results further.
- The 'Go' button runs the search.
- The alphabet allows you to search a client name starting with the letter - clicking the '*' will return all records in the database.
- The '+ New' button enables you to create a new client record in the database.
