# Bulk Assigning Candidate Records

## Using the bulk assign feature in a candidate basket allows you to bulk change certain aspects of all records in the basket saving you time.

The bulk assign feature in a basket allows you to bulk change the following details to candidate records:

- Candidate Owner
- Candidate Priority
- Candidate Source
- Current Job Title
- Desired Job Title
- Availability Date
- Block Bulk Email
- Block Bulk SMS
- Bulk assign or remove tags from the candidate records.

To use the **Bulk Assign** feature: 

- Open the **Candidate basket** from the smart navigation panel that contains the records you want to bulk change.
- In the Candidate Grid tool bar select the Bulk Assign button, it looks like two pencils and a red arrow pointing right. This will open the Bulk Assign popup.

- When the pop up appears select the criteria you wish to bulk change and click Save.

Please note that if you are bulk changing a large amount of records it may take a short time for the system to index the changes made.
